Burnout..Part Deux
Boy I have had about enough of this Jackson saga! Why does this never end? There must be a certain number of hours of coverage that mandates a musical icon status. Farah barely got a mention or two before her memorium was ousted and curbed. The coup-de-grace came today on satellite tv when a program with the heading of tribute to Farah was in fact only more Jackson propaganda. Did you notice the usual roundup of parasites all over this.....Jesse Jackson...Al Sharpton? Why aren't these people ever in some remote, forsaken area with no communication to the world? I suppose they probably are beneficial of some bat-signal that cuts through time and space. Folks, hold on to your sanity and try to outlast this marathon that is all filler and no thriller.

The Beatles and Michael Jackson
Music seems to stir something in us all. It induces memories that are not so obvious at origin but become very evident at some later point. You have heard some song that has evoked a past sense of being and started you reminiscing uncontrollably. Scents too, have the same way of bringing back comforting scenarios. With this said, I can remember some very happy times from early Beatle memories and also Michael's early work. Of course, those times were much simpler and sincere. I will be quick to admit the Beatles influenced my youth so much more than Michael ever did. While Michael offered his production quality tunes, the lads from Liverpool had expressions of life that were grass rooted.
I don't know if emotional stimulation can explain the hysteria and hyper-emotional state that is seen so much in society with departure of celebs. Do people believe something in them is being taken away and lost to be buried alongside their icon?
